Words can never fully express the love and respect that I have for you. You have always been my strength, my hero, my friend, and my role-model in everything that I have done. Your unexpected ascension into heaven fills me with mixed emotions. I am sad for the void you leave in my life, but I rejoice in your happiness and perpetual rest you so richly deserve.
 
You have always provided for your family in everything that you have done. Even in your passing into heaven you were strong and noble. You can now rest, Dad. You have earned it. You are now reunited with so many that have gone onward before us. You are now with your mother Eleanor, your daughter Denise, your sisters Mary and Margie, your brother Richie, and your lifelong friends Eddie and George.
 
Your legacy lives on in our hearts. You have always been my greatest hero because of the respect, compassion and understanding you taught me. I believe that there are angels among us. You have always been, and will continue to be, my guardian angel; you are my True Joy. I will always be proud of you, Dad. I love you today, and all of my tomorrows.
