- Some of Christiane and my close friends are the Compagnone
family. Nicholas, Angela and their daughters Nicole and Angelica (not pictured) are all active in the Church, whether it be
with Pastoral Planning, singing angelically with the chorus, or working in the rectory. Nicole was extremely helpful in coordinating
my book-signing at St Simon & Jude Parish.
- Jeanine & Roy Ardizzone celebrated 50 years
of marriage in November 2008. They are proud parents of five children. Jeanine was the first Minister at St Simon & Jude
Parish 31 years ago. She has taught Religion for 16 years and has worked in the rectory for 11 years.
- Antoinette & Michael D'Alessio were delightful
to talk with. In October 2009 Michael, an Altar Server at St Simon & Jude, turned 13 years old. His mom, Antoinette, also
serves the parish as a Eucharistic Minister.
- Congratulations to the Winners of the FREE Raffle - Louis and Pat Capasso. Pat and her daughter Jennifer Capasso
were wonderful to talk with when I delivered their winning prize. Jennifer is a first grade teacher at PS 121 in Brooklyn.
